Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how PT Canvas Sistem Solusi ("Canvasweb," "we," "us," or "our"), based at Gedung Jaya, Lt. 5, Unit A6, Jl. M.H. Thamrin No.12, Jakarta 10340, Indonesia, collects, uses, and protects information when you visit canvaswebdesign.com (the "Site") or contact us through it. We built this Site to sell our own web, app, and AI development services — we are not a data broker, and we do not sell your personal data to anyone.

Information we collect

We collect information in two ways: automatically as you browse, and directly when you choose to contact us.

• Automatically, via analytics. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the Site — pages viewed, approximate location (city/country level), device and browser type, referring site, and time on page. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. We may also run Google Ads campaigns; if you arrive via one of our ads, Google may pass along a click identifier (such as a gclid parameter) used to measure ad performance.
• Directly, when you contact us. If you use our contact form, WhatsApp button, phone number, or email address, you may share your name, company name, phone number, email address, and the details of your project or enquiry. This is information you choose to give us in order to get a quote or consultation — we don't require it to simply browse the Site.

How your contact details are actually handled

Our contact form does not submit your information to a database on our server. When you fill it in and press send, your browser opens WhatsApp with a pre-written message containing what you typed, and the message is sent directly to our WhatsApp number by you, through WhatsApp's own service (operated by Meta). The same applies to the WhatsApp buttons found elsewhere on the Site. We only see what you send us once it reaches our WhatsApp inbox, and from that point it's handled under WhatsApp's own privacy practices as well as ours. If you email or call us instead, that information reaches us directly through our email provider or phone carrier.

How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and discuss, quote, or deliver a project
• To understand which pages and services visitors are most interested in, so we can improve the Site
• To measure whether our advertising (such as Google Ads) is reaching people who are genuinely interested in our services
• To meet legal or accounting obligations where required

We do not use your contact details for marketing emails or newsletters unless you separately ask us to.

Cookies

The Site uses cookies set by Google Analytics to recognize repeat visits and measure usage in aggregate. These cookies do not identify you by name. You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings; doing so may make some analytics features less accurate but will not stop the Site from working.

Third parties we work with

We share limited information with the following services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for their own marketing purposes.

How long we keep information

Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings. Project enquiries and conversations (including WhatsApp messages, emails, and call records) are kept for as long as reasonably needed to deliver a project, maintain accounting/tax records, or respond to follow-up questions — after which we delete or anonymize them unless we're required by law to keep them longer.

Your rights

Under Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (UU No. 27 Tahun 2022) and applicable data protection principles generally, you have the right to:

• Ask what personal data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Ask us to delete your data, where we're not required to keep it for legal or accounting reasons
• Object to how we process your data, or withdraw consent you previously gave
• Ask for a copy of the data you gave us in a portable format

Children's privacy

Our services are intended for businesses and individuals capable of entering a commercial agreement. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
